Implementation/Change Manager implementation end-to-end procurement software tool

Responsibilities

The department Procurement Belgium of our client is in charge of procurement of products and services from suppliers. Within this department, new procurement software will be  implemented in the upcoming year. This software will replace an existing tool and will cover the end-to-end procurement process via different modules (e.g. sourcing, supplier management, contracting, invoicing, …; implementation of an e-signature solution).
This important project will necessitate a professional project expert – change manager to deal with the following challenges:

  • Preparation phase
  • Create a plan of approach and constitute a project team
  • Identify priorities of implementation (modules, functionalities)
  • Identify business requirements towards software parameters
  • Review processes and activities to maximize software benefits
  • Implementation phase
  • Execute the plan of approach
  • Ensure implementation of the different modules and functionalities
  • Guide users in adapting the new processes and software solution
  • Ensure BAU administration activity around the software
  • Deepening and extension phase
  • Extension of software use outside the procurement department
  • Deepening of use of the software possibilities (modules functionalities)

During these phases it is important to:

  • Keep aligned with BNP Paribas group implementation of the same procurement tool
  • Pay attention to aspects of impacts on roles and activities of users (change management)
  • Ensure a smooth transition between old and new software

Your profile
 

  • Education Master degree
  • Languages: French Must – spoken and/or written, Dutch Must – spoken and/or written, English Must – spoken and written
  • Experience 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge about project management
  • Knowledge about IT systems and software implementation
  • Knowledge about (human) change management
  • Preferable Familiarity with procurement software; like Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, …
  • Proven track record as project manager in large companies
  • Proven experience with software implementation projects
  • Proven leadership in stimulating and guiding processes of change: tactical and operational – organizational and human aspects
  • Preferable Experience with procurement processes is a major plus
