Project Manager Lean 

As part of the Corporate Banking organization in Brussels, the Lean team supports transformation and continuous improvement projects. The core objectives of these projects are: 

  • Improve our external/internal customer service
  • Develop and deploy best practice managerial skills  
  • Put in place a continuous improvement culture
  • Improve productivity & agility

To achieve these objectives, we work to ensure that results are reached as much as possible through and with internal team experts.

Description:

  • Operational excellence Consultant.
  • Principal responsibilities:
  • Execute a lean transformation in several operations teams
  • Deliver the agreed business case
  • Create acceptance in the transformed areas
  • Maintain interactions with stakeholders
  • Foster continuous improvements

List of main deliverables (not exhaustive) – Quality of deliverable will be defined by sponsor satisfaction:

  • All Lean tools
  • Performance management: KPI’s, dashboard, white board meetings, review meeting cascade with management
  • Simplified process: value stream map, Total Team Effectiveness, simplification, standardization, segmentation, flow…
  • Continuous improvement: log, training, coaching

Profile:

  • Master or equivalent by experience
  • Certification Lean black belt (optional)
  • At least 10 years of professional experience & 5 years in Lean or Operational Performance Management
  • Proven experience in similar projects in a servicing big organization (bank, insurance…)
  • Has a significant experience as a Lean consultant
  • Strong expertise in MS Office (mainly Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Management position in an IT or OPS environment is a plus
  • Agile practices is a plus 
  • Banking, Insurance or comparable experience 
  • Operational Performance management in different areas: services, industry…

  • Strong organizational insight
