The Digital Banking Shared Services Center in Brussels is responsible for the development of value-adding digital banking solutions (Corporate & Institutional Banking). The Shared Services Center products are marketed by the world-wide Group.
Our mission is to: Deliver innovative and value-adding Digital Banking solutions for the CIB organisation and its customers, both external clients as well as internal marketers, sales and traders of CIB

Function Description

The IT Test Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the test team and the overall quality of the deliverables. He needs to plan & control the test phases and raise potential risks and issues to the appropriate persons.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives
  • Daily coordination and follow-up with the offshore test team/external teams concerning the testing to be performed (new deliverables, regression, automation, performance)
  • Interact with the DEV/BA teams (onshore-offshore) to ensure a good understanding of the functionalities
  • Coordinate with other teams for integration tests and product tests (onshore-offshore)
  • Establish test scenarios based on business requirements, functional designs and user stories for product, integration or regression testing
  • Prepare test plan (including resource assignments)
  • Anticipation, resolution and escalation of issues & risks during testing
  • Challenge other teams on their deliverables to be sure the entry/exit criteria are met
  • Monitor progress on project plan/timelines
  • Create test status reports and metrics

Your profile

  • Education You have a solid academic background in Economics and/or Engineering/Computer Science
  • Languages: French Basics, Dutch Basics, English Fluent, able to convincingly defend your position both orally and in writing.
  • Min 2-3 years relevant work experience in testing/test management
  • Strong knowledge of the complete test cycle and experience with different types of testing (including experience with rigorous test case creation and execution)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and should be able to communicate effectively with the different teams (English)
  • Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
  • You are performance oriented and continue to deliver within challenging situations
  • You can demonstrate excellent learning capabilities and are able to adapt continuously within a fast changing environment
