The department of Health Care will be facing many challenges the upcoming 1 – 2 years. One of these challenges will be to create, in close collaboration with an external partner, a new Claims Management System (CMS) allowing our department to meet & even exceed the client’s expectations while working as efficient as possible.
The scope of this new CMS is very broad:

  • Management of hospitalization invoices (electronically & paper)
  • Management of outpatient care costs
  • Management of ambulatory costs
  • Corporate & Retail contracts

You will be part of a team of experienced business architects & analysts and work in close collaboration with several business & IT experts.

The objective of the job is:

  • to describe a new self-service portal site and app (Android & iOS) with claim handling functionalities (coherent with those in new CMS) to be used by our insured
  • to deliver an implementation solution for this self-service portal and app in close collaboration with business experts, IT and external partners
  • to oversee & validate the development done by IT and external partners
  • to help organise & participate to the functional testing of the delivered solution
  • to provide education for the business users in close collaboration with a change management team

Your profile:
 

  • Languages

    • English: good
    • Dutch: fluent
    • French: good
  • A master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or quantitatively oriented master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Excellent conceptual analysis skills
  • Excellent planning & prioritization skills
  • Critical thinker
  • Strongly motivated to work with Business & IT

  • Professional experience in analysis
  • Preliminary experience in Life Insurance (Group Insurance) or Insurance in general
  • Experience in implementation of self-service portals on the web and/or apps in an insurance context
  • Knowledge of Health Care Products is a plus
  • Analysing the requirements of users and business
  • Making the business analysis (global and detailed user requirements) for IT & external partners in function of these requirements
  • Looking continuously for improvement of processes and applications
  • Preparing and organising the users acceptance tests
  • Taking the “service-after-delivery” for your account
  • Assembling the necessary documentation for new or adapted processes and functionalities
  • Informing the concerned parties in a structured and efficient way about the progress of the projects
  • Experience in BPM (Business Process Modelling) is a plus
